BDO Unibank, Inc. (“BDO” or the “Bank”) plans to issue Peso-denominated Fixed-Rate Sustainability Bonds with a minimum total offering of PHP5 billion. This will be the Bank’s fourth offering of such bonds, following previous issuances of PHP55.7 billion in July 2024, PHP63.3 billion in January 2024, and PHP52.7 billion in January 2022.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has confirmed that the proposed issuance aligns with the ASEAN Sustainability Bond Standards and complies with the SEC ASEAN Sustainability Bond Circular.

The bonds will have a maturity of one and a half (1.5) years and will carry a fixed interest rate of 5.875% per annum. The minimum investment is PHP500,000, with additional investments in multiples of PHP100,000.

The public offering period is scheduled from July 9 to July 22, 2025, with the issue, settlement, and listing date set for July 29, 2025.

Net proceeds from the bond sale will be allocated toward financing and/or refinancing eligible assets under the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Framework, supporting its loan portfolio, and broadening its funding base.

BDO reserves the right to revise the terms and schedule of the bond issuance as necessary.

ING Bank N.V., Manila Branch will serve as the Sole Arranger and Sustainability Coordinator.
BDO Unibank, Inc. and ING will act as Selling Agents, while BDO Capital & Investment Corporation will serve as the Financial Advisor.
